To scale its research capabilities while maintaining strict regulatory controls, Zentalis sought a secure cloud platform that could support diverse workloads, protect sensitive data, and provide flexibility for advanced analytics and machine learning.
Zentalis needed to migrate and modernize an existing research environment that spanned multiple physical and virtual systems, large data volumes, and heterogeneous applications. Xpertech delivered a phased migration and modernization program on AWS, starting with the implementation of a secure, HIPAA-aligned AWS landing zone. The landing zone used a multi-account architecture with centralized logging, encryption by default, and private connectivity to on-premises systems.
Using a wave-based migration approach, Xpertech migrated and modernized a broad range of workloads, selecting appropriate strategies based on application characteristics and business requirements.
