San Diego International Airport
“San Diego International Airport” in partnership with “Data Insight Discovery” and “Xpertech Solutions”, rolls out the next generation Data Warehousing and Data Analytics platform for Airport Analytics. Using a data centric methodology, we created a data lake, data lakehouse, enterprise data warehouse, and data mart architecture, leveraging AWS services including Redshift, S3, Athena, Glue, and Tableau. Armed with this solution, San Diego Airport has been able to undertake many new exciting analytics and reporting ventures for financial reporting, improving customer experience by providing real time analytics such as parking occupancy dashboard (www.san.org), and making informed decisions on effects of parking site closures, advanced bookings, aircraft movements and rental car revenues. SAN is continuing on the path of taking the analytics to the next level with predictive and prescriptive analytics.
