UC San Diego Health partnered with Xpertech to accelerate its cloud transformation and modernize its research and clinical innovation platforms. Xpertech designed and deployed a HIPAA-compliant AWS Landing Zone with enterprise-grade security controls, multi-account isolation, and automated governance aligned with NIST 800-53 and CIS benchmarks.

Our team led the migration of multiple mission-critical workloads, including the FDA-approved Visage imaging platform, ensuring high availability, zero-trust network boundaries, and seamless integration with on-prem clinical systems. Beyond migration, Xpertech architected and implemented a modern data warehouse and enterprise data lake on AWS, enabling secure ingestion of EMR data, research data, and operational datasets.

Using AWS Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, and SageMaker, Xpertech helped UCSDH establish an advanced analytics and ML foundation capable of powering predictive models, operational dashboards, and clinical research pipelines. Today, UCSDH benefits from a scalable, secure cloud environment that drives innovation across imaging, population health analytics, and next-generation digital health initiatives.
